A consultation with the vet is to discuss any concerns or queries relating to your pets health or wellbeing.

During a consultation the vet will listen to your concerns, your pet will then be examined and advice and medication (if required) will be dispensed.

Many pets become anxious or upset when visiting the vet (similar to us visiting the doctor or dentist) we fully understand that consequently this may become upsetting for you, we try to have a nurse present in all consultations to give both owners and pets support.

We also understand that sometimes it’s nice to see a familiar face and encourage our clients to see a vet of their choice where possible. This also helps with continuity of care for your pet and in cases where repeat visits are necessary the vet will be able to detect any improvement / deterioration easily.
